Default GSR Engine Problem

Me and some friends just the engine back in my car after changing the cams to skunk2 stage 1, adding ITR Pistons and Rods, and a skunk2 intake manifold. We also replaced all the gaskets.

The problem now is, when you lightly tap the gas, the car revs fine....now when you punch the gas, the car stalls. I also added a AEM Fuel Rail and AEM FPR. The regulator is set to what it should be at idle. Any ideas on what it could be. Please let me know. Thanx

How do the spark plugs look, rich? Is your CEL on? Go back through all your hose connections.

how long has the engine been in there?? I know the computer has to adjust to changes like that and just might take a while. Other than that, how are your injectors. Did you replace those? You could take it somewhere and have them check that stuff out to make sure its not a fuel delivery problem then go from there.

quick thought.......more air=more fuel. Try increasing the FPR for a day and see if the car runs better. Make sure to reset the computer before you start it with the adjustments. Also, have the timing checked unless you have the means yourself.

try increasing the fuel pressure, also check your coil and ignitor...they could cause similar problems.

the timing is perfect, checked that....the injectors have not been changed cause I asked a tuning place about that, and they say dont need to upgrade with this setup. they are like 70k miles old.

tried upping the FP and didnt work, did the same thing.

on the intake manifold, there are two plugs that are exactly the same. switch these two plugs around and see if this solves anything. Also try turning the fuel pressure down a bit, it maybe that you are getting too much fuel, are you getting any back fires or anything like that? does it idle perfectly? there should be no hesitation between cylinder fires. make sure that the timing belt is not a tooth off, yes there is room for the belt to be a tooth off both ways. the computer doesnt have to "learn" anything, it non-variable, unless you have a chipped ecu. what rpm does it idle at? just a few thoughts, get back to us and let us know the outcome of these ideas.

ok, it will be the throttle angle sensor and another sensor that is right by it, i think it may actually be the map sensor... have forgotten now, its bee like 4 or 5 months since i have really been under the hood of my car. good luck, i hope you get it running.
