Brembo Blanks & Cobalt's GT-Sport pads:

Coefficient of Friction: 0.48m
Temperature Range: 75-950F

Cobalt GT-Sport is a class-winning Pro Solo2 Autocross compound exhibiting very good cold performance, strong/solid initial bite, linear pedal feel with excellent modulation, and high fade resistance. Along with its excellent performance, the GT-Sport compound is rotor friendly and has very good wear rates over a broad operating temperature range. For the serious autocross driver, the GT-Sport will let you take back the time under braking! Also suitable for spirited street driving (i.e. canyon and mountain drives, etc.) and novice to intermediate level HPDE events

this is my setup for spring.

I'll look into the Carbotech's, thanks for you suggestions.

Any others?
*cough*

Chanc, I'm telling you just get the RicerZone rotor'z.. you break they buy.

As far as pads, the ultimates will be plenty for the street.

I run the GT-sports on my car. They have great initial bite and decent fade resistance. But they do dust quite a bit.

I use the OE's on the street, the GT-sports @IVR.

I have heard not so good things about metalmasters, and seen not so good thing from Hawks. The Hawks were on my friend G35 MT, slightly heavier car than ours of course, but equipped w/some blingy brembos. We had chunking problems @events, and a weird glazing problem on the street.

Also, make sure you seat the pads properly. There should be instructions w/you set, if not Ill try and dig mine up.

Clothes... ok, understandable.

Brake rotorz?... those are a wear item, plus it's not like they say "Brembo" on the surface

I know someone is going to shoot the "you get what you pay for" at me. But numerous people run the AZ's w/out problems... if their are problems, they are probobly induced by the user.
