Default Very Sluggish Clutch Pedal / Cold Temps

98 GSR 90K. Temps around here have been very very cold! Is it normal for the clutch pedal to be very sluggish in this weather. After 10-20 minutes and the car heats up it seems to be fine. I have owned other 5 spds. (non integras) and never noticed this.

cold weather will make the fluids more dense and harder to move until they warm and return to normal viscosity.

Have your fluid flushed. the Acura dealer ( and may service stations) use a vaccume device to flush out the contaminents outta the hydrolic system, thus it wont be sluggish when you shift. IF your getting drinding, thats a real problem. You should change the fluid right away, if that doesnt solve your problem you have to change the clutch's master clyinder (id change both master and slave cylinder) the parts are cheap and it will shift like brand new again!!!>

GOod luck

I notice this too. It isn't really cold here but if I don't let things warm up, they seem sluggish. Fluids have all been changed and flushed, so I guess it is normal.
