Default should i buy this?

DC 4-1 SS header for my 94 teg.

dude i know has it for sale, he is asking for offers.

what would be a reasonable price? it has a dent on the bottom, havent seen it so i dont know how big it is but it seems to be common with used headers :dunno:

i know there is the backpressure v. no backpressure argument, not sure which is which (4-2-1 or 4-1)

any advice is welcomed.

im gonna go do a search now to see which is which

you should probebly get the 4-2-1 because of the mid-range power the LS has. the 4-1 is better for the higher revving engines because of the higher end power. if there arent a lot of miles on the header then offer him no more than 175 or so.

you have a gsr swap right? if you plan on pistons and cams later on i'd step up to a jdm dc 4-1 with matching exhaust.

according to the searches ive done, that is a falicy about the 4-2-1 vs 4-1 for mid/high/low end power and some even said that my car wont ever make power down low so go for the high end....

also with my upgraded valve train and higher c/r my car will be a little more rev-able than stock

thanks for your tip about how much to offer him, much appreciated

you don't remember me?!?!!?!?!?!

but yea, James. If you plan on upgrading the cams and pistons - the 4-1 would be better than the 4-2-1 which would begin choking the motor. used with some imperfections....165-175 range.
