God! Igniter and Coil!?
most fuel injected honda's have side mounted distributors. Its sorta a flaw in the design that the bearings in the distributor dont get oiled as well as traditional verticle mounted distributors. So its common for the bearings to die at 120-160,000 miles. at the same time the coil and ignitor have apporximatly the same life span. Obviously the componets dont die at the exact same time, but for that reason It probobly best to change the entire distributor so that you do not get problems from the other components.
I am on my 6th acura, on the first two, I first changed the coil, then a few thousand miles later the ignitor, then about 20k miles later the bearigns went out. In total I paid about $500 in parts for the threee components. After that I learned that when any of these parts dies its alot cheaper to buy the entire distributor and change them all at once.
