Default What to pay for 99-01 GS-R with ~50K miles?

When I get my income tax money I'm selling my 98 Accord coupe and H22A1 USDM swap, and I'll have roughly $10-11k.

I REALLY want a 99-01 GS-R, but I want it bone stock, driven by a granny with perfect 3K shifts, with the occasional full throddle blast to keep the engine happy and with around 40-60k miles.

What should I pay for this?

Edit: GS-R coupe with leather.

Damn, unless I find a motivated (i.e. in financial destress) seller, I may have to take out a small loan. I won't settle for anything but a 97-01 (I'd really prefer newer, though, hense the title) Prelude/VTEC or GS-R

12,8 eh? So I'm betting if it were a private individual, I could get $11. That's so perfect.

Oh, not to mention, I can't drive a 5 speed. This, or a Prelude, would be what I'm learning to drive a stick on. I can sorta drive one, i.e. I've driven a stick about 20 times, and I've gotten a lot better, but no one in my family owns one so I can go practice a bunch. Would this, or a Prelude be a good first stick car? I don't plan on doing ANY mods (except for Type-R spoiler, drop(springs+shocks) and rims) for a long time, until I can truly drive a stick.

Good luck trying to find a GS-R thats been babied but there are some out there that have been taken care of like mine. If you get a 99-01 I would recommened a certified used one good luck with your search as far as price between 10 and 13 should be a decent price.

Hi Kenton,

I think you should be able to find a nice GSR for your price, or close to it. I bought an '01 GSR last month with 55k for 11.7k. It wasn't driven by Grandma, but it's in great shape and the previous owner had no interest in mods or racing or anything like that the car is all original. Probably easier to find a babied GSR than a Type-R I imagine. I bought mine private sale, the dealers seemed to want quite a bit more for the same car than the one that I found.
