Default intake header exhaust (need ur vote)

Well im making up a xmas list of some mods i wanna get for my 96 GSR (76kmiles) so i went onto modacar.com and came up with a list of things that i possibly might want to purchase. If u guys want to just pick ur fav. out of the list of stuff i came up with it would really help me out with makin a decision since theres so many different brands out there and im not really experienced with buying aftermarket parts yet. So here it goes...

Header:

dc sports ceramic 2piece 4-2-1 $305
dc sports ssbrushed 1piece 4-1 $359
comptech tig 1piece 4-2-1 $469
greddy sspolished 1piece 4-2-1 $309

Intakes:

aem cold air $185
aem v2 cold air $249 (is it really worth the extra dough?)

Exhausts:

comptech sport tuned $639
dc sports $449
hks hi power system $639
invidia $479
rs*r exmag $499
rs*r gt2 $489
skunk2 $499
thermal $494

Well thats it for now...i just got this car about 2 months ago. I put a B&M short shifter in and the woman that i bought it from had it tuned before she sold it to me but thats all i have done to it so far so i wanted to get the basics out of the way before i do some major work. Thx guys!

I like products made by Comptech, so my vote goes as follows.

Comptech ice box, Comptech header, Comptech catback.

Oh wait Comptech ice box wasn't an option. h:

You should have made this post a poll.

Rsr exhaust systems are pimp though.

If you want good power for your money, get this:

AEM Short Ram Intake
DC 4-1 JDM header
Magnaflow high-flow cat
GReddy Evo 2 or an RS*R exhuast

And while Modacar is a sponsor for HAN, I will note that it's easier to find sustantially cheaper prices on the web.

From the list, I'd go with the Comptech Header and Exhaust. And the AEM CAI intake, but you should think about the Comptech Ice Box like Carta79 said. Comptech is high qualitity.

I have AEM CAI, OEM JDM 4-1 and RS*R. If I could do it again I'd replace the AEM with a Comptech Icebox. It would be a decent setup for the money.

well this is my 2 cents
comptech header-i have it on my car and love it
screw aem stuff get a comptech intake with icebox-i also have this on my car and i love it.
i have a apexi n1 exhaust that i love but from your list ive heard great things about the rsr exmag and i love the look of te comptech exhaust because it has a very "low profile" tip on the muffler

Hey does anyone kno anything about gettin a custom exhaust built? Like buying 2.5in piping from the cat bac, getting a high flow cat and a performance muffler? lemme kno if anyone has done anything like this... and if u think its better to get a total aftermarket system (more flow??) Thx.

i had one done(custom) at my local shop, they built me custom intake, headers, and exhaust system. the price was great, i had very good power gains, it is just that the quality wasn't in it, and there was no warranty. i enjoyed it for a little over a year but i am now going to redo my car with comptech, mugen, or toda parts only, yes it will be expensive but as i am learning and many others will tell you it is better to spend the money the first time and do it right, so yes id go aftermarket with a reputable company who can back their product, that is why they charge the little extra money they do, so they can support research and development, which eventually leads to a better prodcuct for you
