I was trying changing alternator belt yesterday and had the car up in a jack.. but couldn't get the bolts off cause I didn't have the right tools so i'm going to try next weekend.. But now when I put the tires on and drove it today, the car was stiff. Driving and going over speed bumps was rough. I look to see what the problem was and found out that it was the driver side shock doesn't move anymore (by push each corner of the car all the other side go down and came back up but front left side didn't seem to move), it's stuck.. what could have cause that?

When I go over a speed bump it's like there's not springs at all, like if you were going over it (bam) and i can feel every bump on the road when I'm drivin.. I get feel ok.. but the front driver side i can't when push it down. Is it blown? I don't think cause then it would by bouncy cause then the springs with just moving.. But it's not it stiff.. What happen?
