Default Door Lock problem..HELP

I can't open the driver door with the key, it does not turn. So when I go to the passenger door and manualy press the lock switch, it unlocks and locks back immediately. I'm having to catch the lock when it goes the unlock position, and get in the passenger door and jump to the driver seat. Any ideas... Car is a 1995 Integra

hmm...my only guesses are that either a wire has shorted out, or if you have a stock alarm system, it may be trying to override the computer. Have a mechanic diagnose it. If you are having troubles getting into your car, contact professionals immediately.

My 2001 integra does the same thing...if I lock it from the driver's side with the door open, i can't unlock from either side (it unlocks, then quickly locks back in like 2 seconds) until I close both doors...it's become a game for me...to see how quickly i can get out

Yup same exact thing, where it locks back. Let me know if you figure it out, and I will do the same.

Are you still running the stock keyless entry? That may be the problem too. I had mine by-passed when it started doing what yours is doing and it has been fine since. I think there is something wrong w/Integras and their locks & latches.
