Default I really hope not..

Ya know that sound that ya get when you have a worn spark plug and you accelerate and its like " R-R-R-RRRRRR " yeah.. well.. is that a sound related also to your car being messed up by water ?.. Because well, My car did that, and i just drove like 20 miles in some ugly rain, and my car is about 3in off the ground with a cold air intake.. Am I making too much of this ? or could i really be in for some fund destroying work ?.

If it still runs, it shouldn't be a problem. Replace the spark plugs and install a bypass valve if you are really paranoid about it.

if you did have water in the motor, one (or more) cylinders would not be firing. You can tell this because your car will then sound like a lawnmower when you try accelerating.
