Default Relocating IAT sensor

Would it make any difference if I relocated my IATS from my last intake manifold runner to my intake tube?

Why would you want to do that?

I have an AEBS intake manifold and the spot on it for the iat sensor is different than my stock one. It gets in the way of my fuel rail

I would assume that the temperature reading it takes would be different, because the air inside the intake manifold will be hotter. I guess it's worth a shot to try it though.

Your tuning will be slightly off, because the sensor itself as well as the temp readings will be significantly cooler.

Stock ECU? Programmable?

Keep it in the manifold. Temperatures in the manifold will be different than the reading in the intake, enough to make a difference and limit any tuning capabilities significantly in the future.

Edit: re-reading your original post...

Can you shave any part of the sensor or fuel rail to make it fit?
