Default Timing Belt Removal

Can I remove my head by just sliding off my Timing Belt, in my helms it calls for absolute removal. I don't really want to go through the hassel of taking it off.

You can slide the timing belt off. I would loosen the tensioner a little bit, it will make it easier to get the timing belt off and get it back on once you put everything back together.

ya, tensioner may be a problem to get it back on. it may also be tricky to get your cams on the correct teeth. i would suggest taking white out and marking a line on the side from each cam to the timing belt. preferably on one of the teeth on timing belt. oh, and make sure you don't move the crank at all.
