Default good deal, or no?

I really didn't want to start a whole new thread, but didn't find anything that would go in....SO, this guy is wanting to sell me coilovers for $50, $65 installed for me...I odn't know what brand they are, I do know they have a maximum drop of 3 inches ?(more than I want, but that's the glory of coilovers) and he used them in his CRX for 6 months before, so they are used....what do u guys think...good idea or bad idea?

It would help if we knew what brand of coilovers you plan on purchasing. The best advice I could give is don't just go installing parts on your car because you feel like your getting a deal here. There's one thing I've learned in my tuning experience and that's, "you get what you pay for".

We could be talking about $50 ebay special coilovers here. Chances are that these coilovers have horrible ride quality, that's why the seller wants to get rid of them.

$50 for Weapon R coilovers that have 6 months of use, not bad go for it. I had those coilovers before on a Accord that I sold. You should get yourself some nice shocks before the install, just my opinion.

I remember the Weapon Rs being quite bouncy. You would be better off with ground control coilovers though.
