i got a b&m pro edge shifter.. works well. the shifter is actually straight, no bends and comes with an aluminum pivot housing (to replace the shiddy rubber one in your 3rd gen. teggy right now)..very satisfied. only con was that the sphere-shaped bearing scraped the heatshield so i had to get rid of the heatshield. its like $140 but u can get it for like 125 at www.driverfx.com if you type in "factory" as the promotion code.

might be kind of pricey, but i wanted something decent my friend had an ebay shifter and it snapped when he was racing. i heard b&m was near the top of the list for quality shifters so i got the best b&m shifter i could find.. the throw is actually a little bit shorter than my friend's skunk2 shifter on his 01 LS and the b&m sits lower. (not saying anything bad about skunk2)
