It shouldnt be that hard. Yours already has the mounts or whatever so you can install a b series engine into it without a kit. Yours is a obd0 car. The gsrs can be obd1 and obd2. The 94-95 gsr is obd1(b18c1), then the 96-98 gsr is obd2a(b18c1) then the 99-01 gsr is obd2b(b18c1). Youll need a harness adapter to convert that ecu to your wiring harness. JHPUSA sells them, so does locash racing. You should call hasport and ask what all you need to do. Off hand im not all sure what you need to do. Its very possible. They also make a converison kit so you dont have to change any plugs on your wiring harness for the gsr motor. Thats just some advice. Someone correct if im wrong on some of this.

It will be cheaper to swap one in. You will not run into any problems swaping the motor into your car. I think you will need a b16 distro but other then that your good. But im not sure on the distro.

same as putting it in a gen two but since u have an obd0 ecu u should get an 94-95 engine that is obd1 because they can easly be converted to obd0 with a harness that should be ur biggest problem or u can juz rewire the whole ecu with a newer harness out of the corrisponding year as ur engine but that can take a bit of time
