Default NOOB: Question about swaps

I am going to be purchasing an integra (94+), and I would be doing a swap. Now I am debating over a GSR and a Type R, I know the price difference between the engines are about 1500 or something like that. I just want a good daily driven car that runs about 14's. Type R's do that already, but that's expensive one, then there's GSR (15 secs) and I can use the extra money to invest in it. So what do ya'll experts think? GSR+bolt-ons and more or Type-R with basic bolt-ons? Thanx.

Why not just buy an ls and turbo it? A swap costs more than a good turbo kit and fi will have you in the 13's. And yes it is streetable daily.

:werd: you would be much happier if you are lookin for straight line times with a turbo'd b18b, also you dont have to worry about the swap, unless your motor is extremely high miles I would rec. boost.

Dang, errbody is in favor of the LS/VTEC setup, I would too, but like G2 Teg said, it has to be perfect, or else it'll stab in your back. I would go LS/VTEC turbo, but I just want a speedy daily car...so it's going to be a GSR or Type R..
