The type R is a good very well build engine. But I think the GSR is more bang for the buck. The type r is already pretty high compression engine so if you ever decided turbo you couldnt do it without putting low compression pistons in it. A gsr you could go high compression all motor or put a turbo on it as it is. Theres a turbo kit made by spark racing on ebay. They claim 312hp at 8.7lbs of boost on a stock gsr. The kit comes with everything for like 2700 buck. You should just do that.
