Default help: 89 integra giving me trouble when starting

yeah when i try starting the car in the morning, (engine about 15 hours not used) it takes a while for the engine to start. like almost if the engine is literally being forced to start. the car is 15 years old... but isnt there a part like the altinator to let the ignition of the car to start more flexibly? without having to hold the key turned for literally 5 seconds.

Has the starter motor been touched at all in those 15 years? That could be your problem. Starters on average have a lifespan of 25 minutes because of the intense voltage being applied to them. They aren't that difficult to rebuild. Check into that.
