Default JDM Front End

Is $1500 too much for a JDM Front End? My friend says this price is about right.

you really should do a search. anyway, for a non-hid jdm front end including ALL the parts, $1500 is a very good price. btw, please don't ask what completes a jdm front end because it's in the archives.

Not a bad price. You might want to check Password JDM to see if they have some in stock that they'd sell you more cheaply, but that's not a bad price to start with, assuming you're getting everything you need.

Please make sure you're dealing with someone you know or someone you know you can trust.

Shipping automotive body parts can be a headache, and a lot of JDM conversions arrive with damage that needs to be repaired. Don't mean to scare you, but I've heard some really intersting stories about this.

good point, George Knighton.

It's a friend of a friend. Don't know if I really trust him, had some "shakey" business with him before.

Never heard of Password JDM, but I'll check them out, you trust them?

I'm assuming passwordjdm.com

I do trust them. I have corresponded with Leo for years.

The last thing he's done for us personally involved searching for quite a while for unusually rare performance parts for a Honda Challenge car, and not charging an arm and a leg when he found them.

EDIT: There are retailers who don't like Leo or Password JDM. He will bend over backwards bringing parts in at the best price he can find, and the retailers who have agreements that force them to buy from major distributors and sell at higher prices do not care for that at all. Leo can occasionally bring a large number of a popular item in at a much lower price than other people can, so he does have some enemies in the retailing world.

I got my JDM front from Password. It is expected that the hood and whatnot come a little damaged, but it can be easily repaired before painting. My total cost was 1900 shipped.

so, i've decided it's better to do this first, than the sound system. this is available now, and who knows who else will try to jump on this for $1500.
