I'm considering getting a vtec head for my LS, I was wondering if I'd need the GS-R ECU as well? Also wondering what would be the better choice for a transmission, one out of a B16 (I hear they're geared shorter ... taller from other people) or an LS tranny?

 

you can use any vtec ecu you want. the b16 is a better tranny for an lsvtec setup.
