Burning smell....

Burning smell....
I need to figure out why my car is making this smell like something is burning under the hood. I drive my 'teg 10 miles and if i stop the smell will come through my vents. What is making the smell? Thanks

I checked the belts and theyre fine. It happens right in the morning. i leave for school and drive 10 miles to town. i stop at a stop light and the smell comes through the vents if i have them on.

Make sure your up on oil, that can make a smell if you running with close to none. Then also, make sure you don't have anything dead under your hood. Animals like to crawl into engines, I had a mouse in mine once and it reaked, it was caught right by my alternator pulley.
