ok i know i might sound stupid but at my own risk i must ask...how in tha crap do i know if my car is a GS-R or not? i have heard that my car is and that it isnt...it has all the leather the 6-disc CD changer power everything...5spd and i was just wondering guys...thanks! just help my anyway ya can!

Check the block # and see if its the stock B18C1 and if it is then youre a proud owner of a GS-R motor anyways

Or check to see if it say's VTEC on the top of the motor.

look to see where your redline is. if it is higher than 6800 then it is a GSR/ Or open the hood and if it says Vtec then it is a GSR. If your car has GSR rims. some ideas for you.

Look at the hatch and see if you've got a 3rd brake light in the glass..... the gsr was the only one without one there....

If the emblems aren't shaved, it has a DOHC VTEC badge under the right taillight.

I have a gs and it doesn't have one there. I guess because I have the spoiler. I thought the Type R was the only one with it in the glass.

BTW texas, i looked at your posted pictures and it looks like the Vtec badge under the right tail light was shaved off. you can see where it was removed. You probably have the GSR.

look at your rpm guage for gods sake. it it reads 8000 then you have a gs-r
