weight reduction is another options, no Hp gain, but make ur car go faster

 

Take out your air conditionning, power steering, back seats, sound deadening material, spare tire (though if you get a flat you won't be moving very fast without a spare), stereo, and... that's it. The only thing you can do that's inexpensive is take stuff out, which is free.
