Default how far to sit away from seat?

okays my friends looked into my cockpit today and they think i sit kinda close to the wheel.. i mean.. my arms are extended allt he way and my wrists rest on the wheel..

is it too close? i mean i kinda like to sit a little closer so i dont have to put so much effort into putting in the clutch.. ?

i guess im worried about the airbags malfunctioning if im too close, but theres like a good 2.5-3 feet from the wheel to my body.. is it too close ?

Don't be lame and hang all the way back and to the inside like retards.

My arms are almost all the way extended and hands rest on the wheels.

I know I sit upright, and I like it. I can see, I can be seen, and I can turn the car.
Oh, did I mention I dont look gay?

Also from the turn-fast page:

For competitive driving your wrist should be resting on the top of the wheel, with the elbow slightly bent. You should also be able to rest your wrist on the wheel without having to lift your shoulder from the back-seat. This allows for completion of a full turn without delay.

But for the street, I would sit a tad farther back for safety reasons

Or you can be ultra-safe and do the "ghetto lean"h:

I always heard that you should be able to reach the radio without leaning forward.
