Default headers

what would be my best bet on GOOD fairly inexpensive headers, i've been thinking about DC headers, they are a little expensive for me, but i know they are one of the best, i would also like to know any respectable sites or online stores, that i could order from with prefable good shipping (as in i don't want to wait until i actually NEED new headers before i get my aftermarkets in) anyway yeah any help would be great.

I had the dc 4-1 on my 99 Gsr and it hit a lot of crap. I took it off and added a Kamikaze 4-1 ceramic coated header. I was a little skeptical at first, but suprisingly it is built pretty well and put down more power than the dc I had. The good thing about the kamikaze is that it is 4 into 1 down pipe, not 4 into a cluster into one outlet, it is 4 collecters and 1 down pipe that meets in the middle. It tucks right under the car and I bought my from ebay for about $250 you can check out his website. It is www.bigjoshracing.com

yes, pardon me, header (only one of em) and i have a integra ls sorry for the confusion

yeah ebay has some nice stuff, but there is also pure crap, for example i recently did a search for headers and there are some with the buy it now price of like 80 bucks, i mean come on....that couldn't possibly make it through the install so i'm just very nervous about things like that. I do know what to look for in good sellers, i've purchased things off ebay in the past and i live on the site

I went with the DC Sports 4-2-1 2pc Header, and I am very impressed overall.
While the install was time consuming, it went in perfectly, with no leaks whatsoever.

Power-wise, the car no longer struggles in the high end, and the exhaust note is very nice, reminiscent of the old Alfa Romeo GTV. h:

And yes, caveat emptor... I don't trust eBay at all, it seems like a haven for pirates and scammers. h:

Yeah I would stay away from those TSUDO headers on ebay too. You do have to be careful, that's for sure. I can't really say I've been scammed though, I'm pretty scrupilous before buying. I try to buy things that I can physcially go and pick up, if they are cool with that, then it's usually pretty legit. Kamikaze aint all that bad, Import Tuner did a piece on them and it happens to be one of the most sought after inexpensive headers for supercharged cars. Kamikaze is one of the few co. that make a header w/2.5 piping.

not really. there are plenty of other companies that make headers with 2.5" collectors.

I have the 4-1 ceramin DC on my 95 LS along with the DC cat back exhaust. These two paired with the AEM CAI gives the car a nice SWEET exhaust tone. at WOT its actually a nice roar.

try this site, been around for a long time.

I would stay away from the DC 4-1 one piece. It hangs too low.
