Ok, tried to start the car with the gas pedal down for a few minutes but this didnt work. A couple other questions: There is a hose coming out of the left side of the throttlebody that has a threaded metal tip on it and says "fuel emissions" on the side...what is this for and is it necessary for the car to run?...Cause im pretty sure it was never hooked to anything since i bought the car a couple weeks ago. Also, what is the electrical connector that is paired with the fuel pressure regulator connector? Because that connector isn't plugged in either...Thanks again for any help.

My car is a '94 so it should be OBD-1 as well...And I'm not sure about the bulb, but my check engine light has yet to come on...

oh why did i think you had a 96? hmm...

well if you are sure if you have a cel bulb or if it got yanked just turn your key to "on" and see if it lights up

How old is your battery?

Have you tried jump starting it with another car?

I dont think the battery is very old and I dont think it was dead or anything, but I did have someone try to jumpstart my car yesterday with no luck. And the lights and power windows and everything all work fine...should the check engine light turn on or flash at all, like when you put the the key to "on" or anything?

yeah it should turn on, light up or something when you turn the key to on.... id pull the cluster out, see if there is a bulb or not. if there isnt (which i believe there isnt) put one in, turn it on and see if you can pull a code. hopefully that works out for ya and you can pull a code.

have you tried taking the plugs out and letting the moisture evaporate from the cylinders? if it isnt warm in indy right now just heat gun 'em....

i also live in the greater indy area with a milano red 94 gsr!!

sorry to hear about your problem.

if you checked for spark and it passed that why don't you check for fuel? are the lines and injection working ok?

probably a long shot but check the relays; i believe there is a relay for both the water pump and fuel pump; maybe it got shorted out or soemthing in the car wash.

best of luck and hang in there.
