I have a drag turbo kit on my 94 GSR tuned with hondata...and its not pulling when I make full boost. I just hear the turbo spooling but it runs like an N/A car...I know i dont have a boost leak because the boost controller is tapped directly into the intake manifold, and its reading a steady 7 psi every time. I also am not blowing any black or white smoke, or burning oil....Ive checked the oil level periodically and its been the same. I also checked to see if the timing was correct....everything seems to be tuned right. Could compression be a reason? Im going to do a compression test next, but if I had bad compression wouldnt I be burning oil? Or wouldnt my motor feel weak when it was N/A? Because right before I put the kit on my car was running very strong. The only doubt I have is that the motor has 190,000 miles on it.....but then again i bought it with 153k from an old women who put mostly highway miles with it....so i think it should be in good shape....what do u guys think the problem could be? Anyone else hear of this before?
