Where are you finding this price? It appears to my newbie eyes that Pro Street is getting $209.99 for same.

long ago I bought the ACT HDSS (heavy duty pressure plate, street disc) for my LS motor - it was great! had a great feel, grabbed nicely.

once the stock clutch on my GSR wears out, i'll be replacing it with the same ACT setup (~$400)

My clutch is just feeling pretty soft right now. I'm not going to replace just yet. I'm in the research stage so that when I need to replace I'll know what I want and where to look.

Don't put much on my opinion... I'm just starting out here. From what I've read--don't know if it's true--that EXEDY is the OEM, which may or may not imply the same quality. If the EXEDY clutch assembly is the same part without Acura badging but made to or exceeding Acura specifications then I'll go with it. Should be perfect for me.

Bear in mind I'm just driving a stock car. No performance enhancers... not enough cash... so just because I'm leaning toward an OEM replacement doesn't mean it's a good idea for you. If I had more performance out of my motor I'd be looking at a clutch designed to take those sorts of loads.

If you want a performance clutch, get ACT. If you want a clutch a little better than stock, get an Exedy Organic.
