Default Car shakes...need info

I haven't driven my GSR for a week now because i just bought a new car and yesterday, I noticed that one of my tires were flat. So, I pump it up and now when I drive it, the car shakes like crazy in the freeway (60 and up). I don't know if it's the tire or something wrong with the car. I even rotated them but nothing helped. The tires I have are kinda old. I'm also going to the shop tomorrow, but I just thought you guys would have some ideas what it could be. Thanks for any help.

It's most likely either a wheel out of balance or the car out of alignment. Have the wheels balanced first, it's the cheapest way out.

Okay, here's what happened. I got some new tires and balanced, but the car still shakes. Not like before though...just minimal. Now it's 80mph and over that shakes. I don't think it's the alignment, the car drives pretty straight. What else could it be?

if u can control the shakin or vibration with ur gas pedal.. then its a axel problem.. if u let go of the gas... and it dont shake.. and it starts up again if u do.. then yea ..more likely.. its a axel.

I'LL AGREE WITH THAT. I HAD ABOUT 110K ON MY 95 GSR AND THE SAME THING HADN'T. I TRIED THE TIRE AND BALANCE AND ROTATION THING. I REALIZED I COULD CONTROL THE SHAKE WITH THE THROTTLE. WHEN IT ALL CAME DOWN TO IT I REPLACED THE AXLE AND IT WAS STRAIGHT. GOOD LUCK

my car had the same symptoms, so I brought my car in to have the tires balanced etc, but they told me one of my tires had a broken steel belt inside, and they showed me were and that indeed was the problem. So I replaced the tire and all is well
