Well I changed my wiring harness on my 96 GSR. Afterwards i get the CEL 23. KS (Knock Sensor) defective circuit or unplugged / defective sensor. So I of course thought it might be unplugged. It isn't, it's plugged in nice and tight. So what gives????

Also, i just frigging compression tested my engine. Cylinder 2=120 and cylinder 3=90. It's burning tons of oil. How long can i drive around till i can get it fixed?

 

What wiring harness did you use?

 

The one from my 96 GSR. I swapped in a 2001 B18c1 and my tach and some other problems appeared. So I changed the 01 harness back to my 96 and everything worked except for the damn knock sensor plug.

 

Anyone???? I really hate driving around in limp mode.
