Default Power antenna suddening stopped operating

I have had an intermitent problem with the power antenna on my 1998 Integra GS. It will suddenly stop working, i.e. no power. When it happened in the past, I could reset it by pulling the fuse for the radio in the panel under the hood. This fix has not worked this time. Any ideas where to look to solve this problem (the lead out of the radio, etc)? There doesn't appear to be separate fuse for the antenna (at least not according to the owner's manual). Thanks.

My antenna died about a year ago... and the culprit was the plastic gear assembly that raised and lowered the antenna itself. My bet it that your antenna has failed in a similar fashion.

Antenna replacement isn't too difficult on the Integra, but you ought to be careful not to damage the paint when removing the old antenna. I've let it slide on my car since I despise broadcast radio. h:

Default Thanks

Thanks for your reply. I think that it might be a connection problem, though. If the teeth/gears were broken, there would still be some noise from the antenna motor. I have none.
