installing carsound cat messes up my tuning?

Default installing carsound cat messes up my tuning?

i have a 99 gsr with the basic i/h/e and skunkIM..and its tuned on a dyno from vafc...if i were to install a carsound cat would that mess up the fuel tuning or itll be okay since its after the header..?

It will have a small effect on the tune considering that the engine will be flowing a bit more freely than it was prior to the install. Considering the setup though, I wouldn't see it being all that vital.

It'll help the flow 'supposedly' giving you better top end. It will hurt your bottom end to a degree because it will remove that much more back-pressure.

I don't see much of a need for a high-flow cat on your setup, but that's just me. I researched them before I went ahead and just found a used OEM cat to put on my setup. I didn't see much of a need for one for the price. :dunno:
