engine swap
can i swap a Type R engine with a 91 integra RS B16A1. and would i be able to switch and use the type R center counoles and gauges on my 91 integra.

Engine yes, but you'd have a problem with the transmission. The gauges and console would have to be rigged up to fit, why, you got a line on a wrecked ITR?

no i was jus thinkin about swaping a type R for my motor of line and makin my interior sorta like the type R

because the type-r tranny is hydro, and your car is cable clutch. you can get a hasport conversion kit, but it will cost you a couple hundred bucks.

The easy way around it is to get just a B18C5 longblock and swap on your B16A trans, distributor, harness, injectors, etc.
