I got my Car.. but...
There is a friggin lock on the stupid gas cap.. .and the guy lives 3 hrs away...

When you went to go get it, how come he didn't just give you the key for the lock then?
He better drive HIS ass down to you and give you the key.

Just get a locksmith to get it off.
Then charge the seller for it. :chuckles:

My guess is that he forgot to give me the key.. or to tell me that it had a friggin lock in the first place.....

The most practical thing to do would be to have him overnight it. That only costs a couple bucks for something as small as a key.

i was under the impression that there was an actual lock on the gas cap, so then you could snip the lock not the gas cap...if he has just locked the factory gas cap door then just use your key to unlock it...

They guy dropped off the key for the gas cap last night so I was able to purchase petrol.
