Default stiff clutch/gear shift???

I just got a gen2 teg with a couple of mods into it and whenever I shift the gear it's a little hard to shift... so, what could be wrong with it? Thanks guys!

Hows the clutch fluid? Check for leaks.

Maybe your clutch is ready to crap the bed. Also it could possibly be the pressure plate.

First things first, check the fluid.

If it happened after you blew through the gears, I would suggest the clutch itself or the PP.

Change the Tranny fluid!

That is the first thing you should do anyway.. Change all the fluids on the car if you just got it. That way you start fresh and know exactly when these things need to be changed next time.

Just incase I need to change the clutch would an upgrade be better or it wouldn't do anything to the car's performance and just stay with oem? Thanks!

actually changing the clutch and flywheel to after market are some of the best modifications you'll ever do. you will really feel a big difference in power.

How does a clutch provide more power? I could see that you might get a quicker response shifting gears if the aftermarket clutch grips the flywheel faster but once it is engaged, you wouldn't be getting any more power. So are you really saying that you get a more responsive clutch with an aftermarket?

Just curious.

Do some research on double clutching & rev matching. It should help you some on the grinding issue. But yeah sounds like your clutch is done, or quite possibly bad syncros.
