wasup i smogged today with i/h/e/cam gears/and skunk IM..max here in the bay from the paper i got was 61 hc level..lucily i got 61..passed the others with flying colors..my question is what could be the reason why my hc is so high..

 

It's probably your catalytic converter.

 

you either have a cat that isnt working as well as it should or your fuel mixture is too rich. if your running a air fuel guage keep it around stoich (in the yellow) when your cruisin at 15 and 25 mph if your doing the dyno smog.
I got mine to pass with big injectors and a s/c so yours can pass too.
If your running a highflow cat you might wanna go back to the stock one if it still dont pass.
