humming noise

Default humming noise

its a humming noise coming from the passenger side front (maybe something to do with the wheel ???) i know it is hard to diagnose without hearing but if anyone has any ideas what this noise might be it would be greatly appreciated. thanks

need more description...does it get higher pitched as you speed up, is it constant or does it get louder, certain rpms...etc.

Jack the car up and turn the wheels by hand, if they are smooth then the wheel bearings should be ok, if your tires are low on tread they are probably the problem, I have 2 worn toyos on the back and they sound terrible, can't wait to get rid of them...

probably a wheel bearing if its only from one side, check the tires for feathering if they are smooth then its more likely a wheel bearing.
while driving if you swerve the car gently the noise will change when the weight of the car transfers to the other side , (unloading the bearing ). this will tell you its the bearing that is bad
