swaybar from acura ~$80. all the other acura parts ~$40. bsq kit $20. the only suspension bar you need. easy install too.

oh and i've never seen a subframe tearout from the bsq kit while i've seen a few from the beaks kit. just a word to the wise.

I have one and love it. It is insane how fast I can whip around corners...all while avoiding the dreaded understeer. I would recommend the Comptech Sports Tie Bar/Sway Bar combo because the tie bar reinforces the chassis against the bar pulling right out of it. It is a little more pricey but super easy to install (NO DRILLING) and it looks way badass.

[QUOTE=Slow_95SE]That site isnt working for me. i hear theres a complete tutorial and they sell a cheap reinforcement kit.[QUOTE]

Just an FYI. If anyone is have trouble accessing my website (www.geocities.com/bretq/swaybar_install.html) because of excessive bandwidth, you can try my mirror site at www.geocities.com/bretq2/swaybar_install.html.

Gets a big :bigok: from me!

And I have seen subframe tearouts with both kits, but I think the biggest factor in these problems (with either kit) is probably poor installation. Well installed, the risk of tearout with either kit is virtually nil.

white_n_slow,

Can you give some further information about subframe tearout occuring with both kits? I'm aware of the Beaks kit having an issue on the Civic EK, but I'm not aware of my BSQ kit having an issues with subframe tearout.

I'd take Brett's kit over Beaks in a heartbeat. However, I went with the Comptech Sway/Tie-bar combo and love it!

Brett - still have your GSR? How's it doing these days?

The BSQ kit is just fine to support the subframe and I highly doubt you'll see tearout issues on it. I railed my Integra and it never had an issue like that; I think Will is in the same boat and so are hundreds of others. It is an absolutely wonderful upgrade, I highly recommend it.

I'm pretty sure I saw a thread on it searching through H-T. I'll look again... not trying to spread any bad info or anything. If I'm mistaken, my apologies.

Yep, I still have my '94 GS-R . It is still my daily driver and I still enjoy driving it. I'm still modding my GS-R (which reminds me...I need to update my website) and it still looks and drives great .

There is still a lot of interest in my Type-R rear swaybar mounting/reinforcement kit (aka. BSQ kit). I typically sell about 3-4 kits a week.
