91 Integra GS Charging Problems?

Does anyone know how to get the alternator out of this model without having to remove the left drive axle? I would appreciate any input from the members of this site.

91 alternator install

I just had a new alternator installed by a mechanic, and they had to remove the drive axle...

sorry!!

I've heard that some people were able to do it by removing the brake master cylinder. But that also sounds like a pain so either way you're in for a long day. Good Luck.
