O really? Hmm I was going to get started on a mild all motor setup, but decided i cant upgrade anything else becasue i was afriad of rasing the redline without re-sleeving the block...but if i can get away without resleeving, maybe ill get back to those all motor plans

im also considering an all motor b20 not too much building build up .... if i ever sell my b18c5 build project :happysad:
thinkin about Crower 403 or 404's with new springs and retainers, 10.4:1 Arias Pistons, probably keep stock rods but might get some AEBS main studs.
but my goals may also be different from yours.
what are you hoping to accomplish, numbers wise with this engine?
I love tourqe so i dont want to give away to much lowend power...But i wanted to raise the redline just because even stock it just seems to low...and im sure with some engine mods the engine will still be making power at the stock redline, so why not build it up so that it can be raised to take advantage of the whole powerband that the new parts offer, but im just barly scratching the surface on this whole all motor thing and dont really know what im tlaking about soooo...Im looking for a mild build, maybe 160 HP and as much tourqe as possible lol, which i dont see how it would be that hard with some cams, pistons, and bolt-ons...but i could be wrong...
I would really like to get into it, but this is my daily driver that has to last me though colledge, and i dont want to build it if it requires re-sleeving and new rods/crank, all WAY to expensive for me...how i wish i could just upgrade the valvetrain and the bottom would be ok HAHA, i think my rod rearings are already starting to crap out on me cuz they make noise on start up wil the oil pressure light goes off...so theres no way i can get away with not touching the bottom end in the build up...but i dont know how stong the stock rods are, i here some people say there even strong enough for low boost, but others say they wouldnt risk it, so im confused if its even worth me trying to get in to...

as long as you arent talking about revving to 8k i dont think you should need to resleeve... but you might want to look into a higher volume oil pump.
just get some nice pistons, main studs, and new bearings. ask around and see what bearings people recommend, if OEM will be okay or if you should upgrade.
remember if you want to raise your redline, you are gonna have to do something for engine management, revlimiter at 7k ....
