Default washing under the hood

hi, i was wondering what parts of my car i should cover before rinsing it down with the hose. thanks in advance

yea, what he said above, and also cover ur car alarm siren if its exposed in the engine bay. I got water inside of mine when washing my engine, and the horn stopped workin for a few days until it was able to dry out cuz its bell shaped on the inside so it holds in the water.
