Default What intake is better?

i want to get an intake for my 90 teg. i just wanted to know what one is better for more HP? the one that goes down in the wheel wellhttp://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...category=38634

Not much of a difference in hp on the two maybe a 1 hp difference. Short ram intakes will give you better response because its a shorter distance for air to trave, cold air intake will give you colder denser air but the air will take longer to travel so the response will be a little bit slower. In the end the cold air intake may get you 1 hp more than short ram but intakes only add in 5 hp anyway. (Best option would be to get a short ram intake and put an icebox on it.) Also a tube is a tube wether aem, injen, or ebay they are all about the same, but if you get a ebay intake, buy a k&n filter cause the ebay ones blow.

Newbie, search next time and you'll find the results probably faster than it took you to start a whole new thread. and its a Cold Air Intake that goes by the wheel well and Short Ram Intake that "just sits there"

all intakes are the same. there isn't a vast difference in the performance, since they just pull in air.
