I've got a noob question. Does the type r spoiler come with LEDs on the spoiler as the third brake light, or is it mounted inside the windshield?

So I guess my second question is, would the type r spoiler w/ LEDs be a better choice then the one w/o LEDs as a replacement for my gsr spoiler?

The Type R's have a built in taillight in the window. I believe its the same part number as the LS, or RS integra. Its not an LED. The GSR comes from the factory with a spoiler that has a built in third brake light, so if you were to replace the factory GSR wing with a Type R wing then you would need to get the Type R wing with the LED's built in, because the rear window does not have the holes for the third brake light.

i think only the aftermarket knockoffs have the led's in the spoiler
