Default Maintence light troubles

How do i turn off the maintenence ligth after an oil change
there was a reset button in my old lude but there's non in the ITR
do i just unhook the battery??
help!

Reach under the bottom of the dash underneath the ignition key. You'll find a button. Press it as you're starting the car.

Yes. Hold the button in. Turn the key to start the car. Keep holding the button until the light goes out.

I noticed on the EP3 they've made it a lot easier. On the EP3, the function is connected to the odometer reset button. A lot easier to reach.

In the past Ive just started the car and then pushed the button in for like 3 seconds and it reset.

yeah i changed my oil today and just held the button for a few seconds it it went away
thnks for all the help guyss
