Default incorrect radio code

I have a 99 LS. I disconnected my battery and after I reconnected it, I put in the incorrect radio code. I now know what the correct code is but now the radio just blinks ERR-3. What should I do to get it to allow me to input the correct code? I tried disconnecting the battery and reconnecting it but I still get the same ERR-3. Help!!!

how long has it been. sometimes it does that to prevent someone from just pushing in any codes. it should reset itself soon.

you gotta run your car for one hour STRAIGHT, then you can re enter the code. Repeating, you must run the car for 60 minutes to reset the code. You entered the wrong code 3 times in a row; so Acura makes you give it steady power for 60 minutes before re entering the code.

unplug the radio and see if that helps.

Call up SunnySideAcura in NewHampshire....

trust me... I had to call a buncha ppl to get my code back, because they all wanted me to like, fax my proof of ownership, liscence, registration, blah blah blah...

SunnySide... just hook em up with the serial on the bottom of the stereo, and they'll call you back like 10min later w/ your code...
