Default e-brake light on??

sometimes when i release the e-brake after i park my car the light stays on? anyone know why? or how to fix it? it also started happening after i tried replacing one of my rear brake pads, but i only removed one bolt before i gave up, so i dont thin it had any effect. any ideas?

It is a common problem. Search a bit and it should answer your questions. Chances are that your brake fluid may be low, or the sensor in the brake fluid resivoir (spelling) is stuck/not working properly.

It can also be the flimsy little switch at the handbrake lever. That can get loose or broken or bent - check it out.

Yeah I have that problem too. I checked the reservoir and the fluid is full.

Ah cool. I'm gonna try filling it up all the way.
