anybody know if the airbag from a 2001 integra will be a direct replacement into a 96? and is the texture and the toupe color the same in both years.. thanks in advance

I think they actually changed the connector in like 00 or 01 to a new 2 stage airbag design, so I'd venture to say no...

Don't take that as gospel though.

You'd be best off buying some from a 96-97 model. I recently purchased airbags and a SRS unit all in great condition on Ebay for less than $250 for my 96 GS-R... they fit perfectly and no SRS light.
