Icebox question

If I get the comptech icebox installed, is this a loud intake like the AEM and other intakes?

I am looking at gaining some power but I want the car to sound as stock as possible.

I don't think it should be as loud. And the gains should be better than any other intake out there, or so I've heard. Only to be beaten by the Mugen Intake, and around the same as the J's Racing Intake.

The sound is barely noticable at all. You only hear it at higher RPM's.

It is pretty quiet. You can tell a bit of a change from stock but its not very loud. I think the best part of it is the ease of taking out the filter to clean it.
