I posted this in a different forum and didn't get any replies... I gave up on thinking about getting a ITR and was considering a GSR. I found two GSRs. 1 is from a dealer who is selling a 2001 Silver GSR with 45k miles on it for 11-13g's. The other is a private seller who is selling a 2000 White GSR with 60k miles for 12,500 Negiotable. Im more of a fan of white over silver but i'm here to ask you guys if you think that saving 1g and 15k miles is worth it. And also if the year models should have anything to do with my decision?

 

There both the same no matter how you look at it. Only thing is.. is your prefrence. And you can get either car for 10,500. Do not spend more then that. Goodluck.

 

in my opinion, i'd go for the lower mileage one. the price is just about the same...it's your call.

 

id see how much u can take the dealer down on the 11-13k price u posted....if you have cash then go in and flaunt it...tell them you will give them 10,500 right now if u can take that 2001 gsr off there hands and then work from there...maybe even walk out if they say no and come back a few hours later a dif amount..good luck

 

i'd go for the 2001. the price is about the same. lower mileage, and it's newer. u dotn want it cuz of the color? Silver is not that bad.

 

I personally like the silver GS-Rs not to common plus it has lower mileage and will have some sort of warranty and is still covered by the Acura warranty which is 4yrs or 50K which ever comes first, hope this helps in your decision.

 

i would have killed to have silver GS-R

 

I called yesturday the silver was just sold. I just hope the white is still there or have to keep on looking for another.
