I am thinking of buying a 1997 Integra LS from a local used car dealership. I have a few questions first because I am a new car owner, and I am a little nervous.
They are asking $1050 CDN ($8000 US). The car has 113,000 Km's (70,000 miles) and it seems suspicously cheap considering the after-market work that has been done. It does need new front tires though.

It has:
an after market rear spoiler (resembles Custom 3pc WRW w/Long LED)
a pretty basic cold air intake
17" mags
lowered

the dealer says it is an LS, but inside the door it says RS-S and it doesnt have a Sunroof, but it does have A/C.

So I was wondering if someone could please excuse my ignorance and help me out and reassure me that I am getting a good deal, and that the car is not underpriced because of some bad problem that the dealer is not telling me about. THanks!

 

well generally aftermarket mods usually depreciate the car's value even more.

KBB price on a 97' like that is around $9k. does that dealership offer any type of warrenty? have you shopped around new/used car dealerships?

I get a 1 year powertrain warrenty.
Since you say that after-market mods depreciate the value, I guess this price makes sense. Why is that? because its hard to trust what someone has actually done to the car? and how well they did it? esp when messing with the suspension?

 

$9k USD. and exactly. i wouldnt trust just anyone tearing apart nuts and bolts on a car. and of what quality are those aftermarket stuff?
